The non-profit association Colours of Life collects stores different types of personal data for different purposes, depending on the field. The use of our website is possible for the most part without requesting personal data. Should it nevertheless be necessary (for example, when registering for the newsletter), this is done on a voluntary basis.
In the area of donors and members, these are mainly data that enable us to be in contact with you and inform you about our work and to collect your donations and membership fees.
Personal data that is only collected for a one-time purpose (e.g. lotteries) will not be used by us for other activities. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
We assure you that we will not pass on your data to third parties, neither to other organizations or companies, nor will we use your data to participate in address trading.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 letter b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. It is also essential for our daily work and the security of our IT infrastructure to cooperate with service providers. During these processes, the transfer of personal data is possible. However, we do not use this data as a matter of principle on a personal basis, but only evaluate on an anonymized basis which of our websites are favored, how many times they are accessed daily, and the like.
